About this project
The project was developed with the goal of expanding access to culture to the residents of the Marabá region, stimulating interest in forms of artistic expression. We planned digital activities in their different forms: learning workshop, training workshop for educators, virtual exhibition, theater play, and debate with artists.
The workshops were offered online and for free, and were aimed at students, the population of Marabá and nearby municipalities. At the end of each workshop, the participants watched a theatrical presentation.
The workshops were developed to attend, in a special way, public school teachers and/or cultural educators; they offered training on how to work with art and culture in the classroom, in addition to promoting consumption of culture.
Finally, a virtual chat was held, in the format of a YouTube live, between the actors who presented the play and the audience. The theme of the conversation was the universe of theater and the importance of cultural actions in cities, and the presence of art for human development.
With the execution of the project activities, we have reinforced our commitment to the project's SDGs: Quality Education, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Partnerships and Means of Implementation.
